Following the completion of the Leonardo Royal hotel expansion with an additional wing, Leonardo Hotels is preparing to lease the remaining spaces within the JM Tower complex, including the smaller adjacent buildings. According to announcements, the official takeover of the building’s management is scheduled for early October 2025. As part of this expansion, the Master Collections brand will join Leonardo Hotels’ portfolio in Poland.
Since 2017, Leonardo Hotels has successfully established its presence in the Polish market, expanding its portfolio with new properties in Warsaw and Kraków. The completion of the Leonardo Royal Warsaw expansion and the management takeover of the entire JM Tower complex on Grzybowska Street marks the next step in the network’s growth, while also introducing a new brand to Poland.
“We are delighted that the renovation is nearing completion and are excited to see how much the interiors of Leonardo Royal have changed, not just aesthetically,” says Paweł Kummer, Operations Manager at Leonardo Royal Warsaw. “The opening of Volla Bar & Restaurant, a full refurbishment of our lobby, expanded conference facilities, new audio-video equipment, a gym equipped with TechnoGym machines, and digital signage screens providing information about conferences and hotel services, to name just a few of the many improvements and upgrades. Some of these changes have helped us reduce printed materials, which has already contributed to lower paper and plastic usage. At the same time, to meet guest expectations, we introduced online check-in, which significantly reduces waiting time at our reception.”
With the takeover of the entire JM Tower complex, Leonardo Hotels will gain full control over the 27-story tower and neighbouring buildings. The newly added space under the Master Collections brand will feature modern technology, including fully digital self-service options and rooms accessible via code. Under Leonardo Hotels’ management, the new brand will benefit from full service integration, allowing all guests easy access to amenities such as the bar, restaurant, and breakfast services.
“By adding Master Collections to our portfolio, we are becoming even more versatile. The new brand perfectly addresses the growing demand for luxury experiences. Studio rooms are equipped with modern kitchens, spacious dining areas, and stunning city views. They are an excellent complement to Leonardo Hotels’ offering, providing unmatched conditions for both relaxation and work. Under the Master Collections brand, we will also offer multi-bedroom apartments of around 100 sqm, which will make up approximately 10 percent of all rooms. These are designed for families or groups of friends seeking more space and comfort during their stay,” says Paulina Kołodziejczyk, Cluster General Manager, Leonardo Hotels Poland.
The expansion of Leonardo Hotels in Poland represents not only an investment in modern hotel spaces but also in service quality and adapting the offering to the changing needs and expectations of guests. Following the completion of the Leonardo Royal expansion and the management takeover of the JM Tower complex, the network will be able to fully leverage the potential of Poland’s growing business and tourism market.
