Golub GetHouse has finished the international architectural competition and has chosen the American Arquitectonica studio (branch in New York) as a designer of the 140 meter-high residential skyscraper Liberty Tower. Another prestigious investment of Golub GetHouse will be erected at the intersection of Żelazna and Grzybowska streets in the Warsaw district of Wola, in the rapidly growing business center of Warsaw.
The Liberty Tower design will be completed at the New York branch of Arquitectonica, which has offices in ten cities in North and South America, Asia and Europe (including the Miami headquarters, Los Angeles, Paris, Hong Kong, Dubai and São Paulo). The architecture studio, established in 1977 and headed by Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda Spear, is world-renowned as one of the pioneers of globalization in architecture. Over its forty years on the market, Arquitectonica has designed hundreds of projects in 58 countries all over the world, including office buildings, residential complexes and mixed-use projects. Some of the flagship designs by Arquitectonica include the Microsoft Europe headquarters in Paris, the Bronx Museum and Westin Times Square in New York City, Festival Walk and the Cyberport Technology Campus in Hong Kong, the International Finance Center in Seoul, and the American Airlines Arena in Miami, an entertainment and sports venue home to the NBA’s Miami Heat.
Czarek Jarząbek, Founder and CEO of Golub GetHouse, said: “We are focused on every minute detail of our projects. We want them to stand out not only for modern solutions, but also for unique, timeless architecture that fits the character of each location. It will not be any different in the case of the Liberty Tower high-rise. We are certain that Arquitectonica is the best possible choice. The architects there have a wealth of experience in high-rise designs, including residential projects with rental premises and a host of amenities. Liberty Tower will bring a whole new quality to the Polish rental market, which is why Arquitectonica’s expertise is invaluable for the completion of this project.”
This project of Golub GetHouse will be developed in the heart of Warsaw’s Wola district. The 140 m high-standard building will offer about 450 modern premises with a wide range of amenities for residents, including a 24-hour reception area, fitness centre, squash court, party and relaxation room, conference room, cinema, swimming pool, jacuzzi, grill zone, and green terraces. A high-class hotel will be also located at the foot of the tower.
Liberty Tower will be erected in the immediate vicinity of the plot with historic fragments of the walls and the gate of the Warsaw Ghetto along with the Duschik house remaining from the Duschik & Scholze factory of iron products formerly operating at the site, established in 1875–1876. All historical elements will be restored and integrated into the new project.
