Matarnia Office Park office complex in Gdansk, developed by Domesta, a member of the Inpro Capital Group, has been fully leased. The commercialization of the investment, comprising two office buildings with a total of over 5,000 sqm of lease space, was overseen by consulting firm Walter Herz.
“The development of the Matarnia Office Park project, located in Gdansk at 68B Budowlanych St., was an interesting challenge for us. The primary driving force behind its construction was the company’s growth and the need to provide our employees with a comfortable workspace designed to foster team integration. After numerous residential investments, our portfolio now includes this prestigious office project. The complex meets the highest quality standards, and its intimate character has been very well received. One of the property’s significant advantages is its location, offering convenient access to work via various modes of public transport and by car, thanks to its proximity to the Tricity bypass. We are proud to say that the Matarnia Office Park project has been a complete success,” says Michał Kijuć, Director of Investment Implementation.
Matarnia Office Park features a BPS building management system, a central ventilation and air conditioning system with free cooling functionality, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, pre-heating, and air cooling, an electronic fire detection system with smoke detectors, a subscriber transformer station powered by two independent cable lines ensuring continuity of operation, and modern, quiet, energy-efficient elevators. Additionally, the facility offers showers and changing rooms for employees who commute actively to work.
The complex provides access to modern transportation via the Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway, the main Tricity bypass, and is located near the largest airport in northern Poland.
“The choice of location was particularly important to us due to the nature of our operations in the IoT (Internet of Things) sector, which requires access to specialized resources, advanced technological solutions, and the right environment for fostering innovation. We needed an office that could provide access to high-quality internet connections, data centres, and technological laboratories to test IoT prototypes under real-world conditions. Matarnia Office Park offers dedicated spaces for working with such devices, as well as the ability to create an R&D laboratory, which perfectly aligns with the ergonomic design of the interiors and the professional approach to building management,” says Magdalena Trancygier, Administrative Operations Manager at TxWireless Poland, one of the building’s tenants.
“The conclusion of the commercialization process for Matarnia Office Park has brought a great deal of satisfaction to our Tricity team. Among the companies that have decided to lease space in the complex are firms offering solutions for the energy sector, installation technology products, and systems for communication and navigation. The building offers a modern infrastructure that meets the highest technical criteria, making it very attractive to tenants. I hope we’ll soon be sharing news of further transactions in this location, as it’s a Gdansk area with significant business potential,” says Jarosław Zdzitowiecki, Associate Partner / Head of Tricity at Walter Herz.
