MDC2 – a developer of sustainable warehousing and production space on the Polish market, together with investor Generali Real Estate, has finalised four lease agreements at MDC2 Park Kraków South for a total area of approximately 16,000 sqm. The companies have leased warehouse and office space.
Located in Skawina, 13 kilometres from the centre of Krakow, the warehouse park will consist of three buildings with a planned total area of 83,000 sqm. One of the buildings of MDC2 Park Kraków South (36,200 sqm) has been fully leased to global medical technology brand Stryker, while another building under construction will house logistics services leader InPost (11,000 sqm).
“We are delighted to welcome new tenants to MDC² Park Kraków South. The diversity of the industries in which they operate is excellent evidence of the versatility of our project. Building 2, despite being constructed speculatively, features above-standard amenities such as enhanced daylighting and superior insulation, enabling permanent workspaces within the building. It is, therefore, an excellent choice for companies involved not only in warehousing or distribution but also in light manufacturing in the broadest sense. We are confident that our state-of-the-art space will allow Iris Galerie, Emerald, Libris and Tezeusz to grow even faster and help them achieve further success,” says Katarzyna Dudzik, Development Director, MDC2.
“MDC² Park Kraków South continues our investment strategy of expansion in logistics and industrial real estate in the CEE region. In 2023, in partnership with MDC², we built and leased the entire 36,200 sqm building to Stryker. In April 2024, we built another building of the same size on a speculative basis, which is now 50 percent let. At the same time, we signed another lease agreement with InPost, with delivery of the building by the end of 2025. We are glad to see that two single-tenant buildings and one multi-tenant building proved to be the right concept for the project,” says Miroslav Nutil, Asset Manager, Generali Real Estate CEE & Nordics Region.
The transactions were facilitated by Greenberg Traurig for legal matters and by Axi Immo Group and Cushman & Wakefield for commercial matters.
