The office complex formerly known as Mennica Legacy Tower has assumed a new name – Mennica Towers. The change marks the start of a new era for one of the most distinctive buildings in central Warsaw. Since September this year, the sole owner – and natural steward of the complex – is Mennica Polska S.A. together with its affiliated companies. The rebranding signifies not only a new name, but also revitalised energy, vision, and direction for a complex now advancing to the next phase of its development.
Removing the word “Legacy” from the previous name is an intentional move by the owner, emphasising the property’s modern and dynamic character. From the outset, the building was envisioned as a cutting-edge office hub – open, multidimensional, and continuously evolving. The new name more precisely highlights the synergy between the two towers, which together define one of modern Wola’s most distinctive symbols.
“The name change is a logical step in the progression of this property and a symbol of a new era for the complex. With ownership and operations now fully unified, we can focus entirely on the future – on developing Mennica Towers as a space increasingly integrated into the fabric of Warsaw. This stage also brings greater accessibility to people and the city. In the coming months, new initiatives and events will activate the building, bringing even more vibrancy to this space. We want Mennica Towers to be not just a symbol of modern architecture, but also a destination for meetings, inspiration, and collaborative community building,” says Katarzyna Budnicka-Filipiuk, CEO of Mennica Polska.
The new era for Mennica Towers enhances its focus as a centre for culture and community. A temporary numismatic exhibition, open to the public, displays notable items from Mennica Polska’s collection. In early December, a vibrant Christmas illumination will light up the building and plaza. This is the first in a series of initiatives aimed at making Mennica Towers an inspiring place for work and urban living.
Mennica Towers is among the most prominent and technologically sophisticated office complexes in Warsaw. Located at the core of modern Wola, at the intersection of Prosta and Żelazna streets, it stands as a hallmark of the district’s evolution into the capital’s premier business centre. Proximity to the Rondo ONZ metro station and numerous public transport lines ensures outstanding accessibility, while its prime location reinforces the investment’s prestige.
The complex was completed in 2019–2020. The East Tower (140 m) and West Tower (43 m) form an integrated architectural ensemble where sleek glass façades merge with an open, welcoming urban plaza. The imposing twelve-metre lobby, premium materials, and striking touches – such as subtly contoured glazed façades or illuminated entry zones – bestow the complex with unique character and refinement.
Mennica Towers provides over 65,000 sqm of A+-class office space designed for comfort and productivity. The building incorporates cutting-edge BMS systems, technologies that minimise energy and water usage, and a double-skin façade for optimal temperature and natural light. Amenities include electric vehicle chargers, substantial bicycle storage, and robust safety and access-control systems.
The adoption of advanced structural and eco-friendly solutions enabled the complex to obtain the highest BREEAM rating – “Outstanding” – making it among the first towers in Poland with this recognition. The area surrounding the building features a thoughtfully designed urban plaza with greenery and street furniture, creating a vibrant space for employees and residents.
The main tenant of the East Tower is mBank, which has established its headquarters there, while the entire West Tower is leased by coworking operator WeWork. By uniting modern design, advanced technologies, and a distinctive urban setting, Mennica Towers remains one of the most prestigious and recognisable office addresses in Poland.
