The first Mercure hotel in the country is managed by Orbis Hotel Group, AccorHotels’ strategic partner in Eastern Europe in partnership with the owner and investor LAMPSA Hellenic Hotels. At the exclusive grand opening event, attended by government representatives, members of the local business and hospitality communities as well as, Ms Tijana Maljković, Secretary of Tourism Association of Serbian Chamber of Commerce, pointed out that Serbia is continuing to attract new investors. “The City of Belgrade, as a two-millionth capital city, is one of the oldest European cities and destination that is always interesting to tourists and numerous visitors,” said Tijana Maljković, Secretary of the Association for Tourism of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and concluded: “Thanks to AccorHotels/Orbis, Belgrade is now in focus as one of the cities where you can find great quality services and hospitality.
