The centre of Katowice has gained another modern office building with the Młyńska.6 investment obtaining its use permit. The exclusive advisor responsible for the commercialisation of the building is Colliers.
Młyńska.6 is a small-scale, 8-storey building offering nearly 2,600 sqm of rentable office space. Its boutique character and elegant design mean that it fits perfectly into the fabric of Katowice’s historic centre. An additional distinguishing feature of the building is its façade, partially covered with plants, which emphasizes the pro-ecological business approach of the investment’s owner, UBM Development.

Colliers data after the first half of the year shows that demand for office space in Katowice is starting to rise again.
“Despite the significant economic slowdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, in the first half of 2021, the volume of lease transactions in the Katowice market amounted to over 39,000 sqm. This is nearly 47 percent more than in the same period last year when 26,500 sqm were leased. This result shows that companies are slowly starting to come back to the decision of leasing office space. It is also evidenced by one of the lowest vacancy rates (9.2 percent) among regional cities – currently the second-highest in the country, after Szczecin.
