Moderna opens its Polish headquarters in Warsaw UNIT

The biotechnology giant and producer of the vaccine against COVID-19, American Moderna, has chosen the Warsaw UNIT skyscraper as its new office. In the new location, it will open a business services centre that will support Moderna group companies located all over the world.

Warsaw UNIT is one of the tallest and most technologically advanced buildings in Poland. Ghelamco’s latest investment is located in the new business centre in Warsaw’s Wola district. Moderna will occupy 4,500 sqm of the high-rise building. The company also considered locations in Ireland, Hungary and the countries of the Middle East, but ultimately the choice fell on the capital of Poland. The country’s business prospects, stability and location were to be decisive.

“Innovative companies need innovative and safe spaces, and our buildings offer exactly that. Warsaw UNIT attracts international corporations who appreciate its quality and location in the heart of Warsaw’s business district,” says Jarosław Zagórski, Sales and Development Director at Ghelamco Poland.

Warsaw UNIT is one of the most technologically advanced skyscrapers in Poland. The architectural design has been developed by the Polish and Belgian Architecture Studio: Projekt. The building is managed by CBRE, an international consulting company, which also has its headquarters in the building. The building’s tenants include the insurance company Warta.
