Moleo has leased 8,787 sqm of warehouse space and more than 600 sqm of office space at an industrial complex City Logistics Wrocław I. The tenant was represented in the transaction by real estate advisory firm Cresa Poland.
Moleo is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce retailers in Poland. In addition to distribution operations on many global markets such as Germany, France, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and China, it has also successfully begun marketing its own brands. Moleo offers children’s items, prams, car seats, toys, garden equipment and homeware, cosmetics, healthy foods – all that a modern family needs.
“Due to the rapid growth of e-commerce and development of our offer, we were looking for a facility in which to invest and increase our footprint in the future. We are planning to further develop our distribution processes and improve warehousing efficiency, and possibly to expand our business going forward. Our needs continue to grow with our expanding customer base and their changing requirements. E-commerce knows no boundaries,” says Michael Grabka, President of Moleo.
City Logistics Wrocław I is Panattoni’s first logistics complex located at such a close distance to Wrocław Inner City, in its south-western area, in the vicinity of an interchange of the A4 and A8 motorways. It will provide 98,000 sqm of Class A warehouse space once fully built out, while nearly 40,000 sqm has already been completed. Benefiting from its favourable location and proximity to the airport, City Logistics Wrocław I is a first-rate facility for distribution operations in Silesia, the Czech Republic and eastern Germany.
“Wrocław is seeing strong occupier demand for Class A warehouse space. The city is already being considered by firms planning to grow further. For Moleo we have found space that will accommodate its expansion needs resulting from their rapid growth, largely in the e-commerce channel,” says Jakub Kurek, Associate Director, Industrial and Warehouse Department, Cresa Poland.
“This transaction is a confirmation of Wrocław’s growing importance in logistics services on the Polish, Czech and German markets. Proximity and easy access to the complex by public transport by Moleo’s staff were the key factor,” adds Miłosz Borkowski, Senior Advisor, Industrial and Warehouse Department, Cresa Poland.
