One of the largest medical service providers in Poland – Medicover – is expanding its coverage in the Quattro Business Park business complex in Kraków. As well as the medical centre that already operates within the complex, a Smile Ritual centre is to be created, which is Medicare’s latest concept for dental clinics and, additionally, a Medicare optician is also to open.
Medicover has prolonged its lease in Quattro Business Park and increased the area it occupies to over 1,100 sqm. The largest medical centre in this part of Kraków is to operate within the office complex owned by Globalworth and is to be extended with dental services and opticians. The dental clinic is to follow the company’s Smile Ritual concept.
This concept features an interior design that does not look like a typical dentist’s surgery and goes beyond the requirements of a medical centre to provide a space that is emotionally comforting. Smile Ritual also includes a holistic approach to treatment and provides patients with physiotherapy for the upper and lower jaw as well as modern standards of customer service. Every patient is assigned a personal carer to support them at every stage of their treatment. Additionally, the Medicare Optyk optician’s includes three optometrist offices with the latest eye examination equipment and a wide range of glasses with corrective lenses, as well as sunglasses and contact lenses from international brands.
“With the opening of the new Medicover dental clinic and optician’s, Quattro Business Park will soon become an important hub for complex medical services for the northeast side of Kraków. Today, our property has already become an important office and service centre for this part of town, since it is not only an attractive place to work but also serves local residents with its wide range of services,” says Weronika Kuna, Leasing Manager, Globalworth Poland.
“Every one of our centres has a separate, professionally equipped optometric office where you can test your sight. In the Kraków salon, you will not only be able to choose from a wide range of corrective eyeglasses and contact lenses but also have your eyes thoroughly tested. The examinations are carried out by qualified optometrists, who specialise in choosing the best corrective lenses,” says Magdalena Lipczyńska, Medicover Optical Director.
“The format we are using for the Medicover Dental clinic is one that has only been tested in Warsaw over the last few months on Plac Konstytucji, where at the end of 2020 our pioneering location was opened for this concept. Now it is time that our new vision for dental services was introduced to Kraków,” says Wioletta Januszczyk, Managing Director of Medicover Stomatologia.
For 26 years, Medicover Polska has concentrated on providing a wide range of services from health to wellbeing. The company services include preventative healthcare, outpatient care, Medicover is an operator of medical centres and hospitals with a broad range of treatments, pharmacies, dental clinics and opticians. Additionally, it provides sports and recreational packages and cafeteria plans for corporate clients. Medicover Polska operates in all regions of Poland.
Quattro Business Park is a modern office complex comprising five buildings (A, B, C, D and FIVE) with a combined area of 66,000 sqm. It is situated in the northeastern part of Kraków at Al. Gen. Bora-Komorowskiego 25, which is one of the main communication roads of the city. The centre has superb access to the city’s public transportation system, making it equally easy to travel to the centre of town, the PKP railway station and the airport. Workers and guests in the complex have an underground car park at their disposal with spaces for 1,300 vehicles as well as a wide range of shops and services in the immediate vicinity. Recently, the BREEAM certification rating for the complex was raised to ‘Excellent’, both for Asset Performance as well as for Building Management.
Soon Quattro Business Park is to undergo a transformation and will gain numerous new facilities and amenities. The internal patio between the buildings is to be completely changed as well as the reception areas and the common areas. Moreover, electric vehicle charging stations are to be fitted in the centre, for cars, bicycles and electric scooters. Additional showers and showers for cyclists are to be fitted and a parcel delivery locker is also to be placed on the site. The building installations are to be modernised and the entire centre is to meet the restrictions for certification under the ‘Buildings without Barriers’ scheme for the disabled as well as for certification under WELL, which will ensure the building meets the highest standards for the health and wellbeing of its workers.
Changes are also coming to Rondo Polsadu one of the biggest junctions in Kraków near where Globalworth has its Quattro Business Park and Rondo Business Park office properties. The city of Kraków in a public-private partnership with a consortium of PPP Solutions Polska and Gülermak is currently designing a multi-level hub with tram lines and underground walkways in place of the current roundabout. The new development will make travel even easier for workers from late 2023/early 2024.
