MPC’s ušće and beo shopping centres receive LEED EBOM gold certifications

MPC Properties´ UŠĆE Shopping Center and Beo Shopping Center have been awarded the LEED EBOM Gold certifications for excelling in several areas.

The two centres excelled in several key areas, including:

– Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy: The building has implemented substantial energy efficiency measures, resulting in significant reductions in energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, thereby enhancing overall environmental sustainability

– Water Conservation: The building has effectively implemented water conservation measures, resulting in substantial reductions in water usage and improved efficiency in water management

– Indoor Environmental Quality: The building has successfully implemented measures to enhance indoor air quality, reducing pollutants and providing a healthier, more comfortable environment for occupants, thereby promoting overall well-being and environmental sustainability.

The achieved certification also indicates that the building has successfully implemented comprehensive waste management practices, thus significantly reducing waste generation, increasing recycling rates, and minimizing the amount of waste sent to landfills.
