NEPI Rockcastle to begin construction of Shopping City Satu Mare in December 2017 – EuropaProperty

NEPI Rockcastle, one of the largest commercial property investors and developers in the Romanian market, confirmed that the construction of its new retail project, Shopping City Satu Mare, will begin in late December 2017.

As previously announced, NEPI Rockcastle aims to invest EUR 40 million in the development of Shopping City Satu Mare, a new regional shopping center.

The complex will be built on a 6 hectare land plot, spreading over a gross leasable area of 28,000 sqm. Its tenant mix will encompass a number of retail and leisure facilities, including a hypermarket, a food court and a cinema.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.

In addition to Shopping City Satu Mare, NEPI Rockcastle is also planning to invest EUR 50 million in the construction of a new retail development in Targu Mures. According to its representatives, the construction works on the new shopping center is scheduled to begin in March 2018.
