Ness Romania creates 250 more jobs

Ness Romania enters a national program for the creation of new jobs and is preparing to hire another 250 people over the next three years.

The program involves an initial investment of €1,200,000 and will be carried out in Timisoara and Iasi. The implementation phase began at the end of Quarter 1, 2021, and will be completed in Quarter 4 of 2023.

“NESS Romania expands its activity by making an initial investment consisting of the purchase of equipment and the creation of new jobs in Iaşi and Timişoara. Over the course of 36 months, starting in February 2021, Ness will create 250 jobs (150 in Iaşi, 100 in Timişoara). As predicted in forecasts, this project contributes to the sustainable growth and stability of the company in the coming years,” commented Associate VP Finance, Livia Constantin.

“Ness is a company that has been present for more than 15 years in the Romanian market; we have innovated, we have created value for our partners and the community; we have expanded and continue to add excellence to what we do. With the new development program, we are moving towards a team of 1000 colleagues over the next 5 years, with Ness making a firm commitment to bring and develop large-scale Digital Engineering projects in Romania over the next 10 years,” said VP Iaşi Delivery Center, Ştefan Rusu.

“This program comes as a natural complement to the road we started in Timişoara 5 years ago. From the very beginning, we have planned solid and lasting growth and we are pleased that at this moment, through the extraordinary work of our colleagues, we have been able to build the foundations on which we can continue to expand in the coming years. We are optimistic about the future and delighted with the creation of new jobs in Timişoara,” said VP Timişoara Delivery Center, Mircea Velicescu.

As a result of this program, NESS Romania is expected to reach 850 employees by the end of 2023. The persons to be employed will have full-time employment contracts for an indefinite period.
