RICS has recently appointed three new Members to its European Board. The European World Regional Board is now complete and as a result ten committed personalities from the European property industry will represent the “Chartered Surveyors” profession and actively engage with European and national governments and industry leaders in 2015.
Each member will have a specific task in the different European markets where RICS is present, using his / her vast experience and professionalism to help further develop and professionalize the European market in line with RICS global objectives.
Jörn Stobbe FRICS, the Chair of the RICS Europe World Regional Board, explained: “As a Regional Board, we would like to become more involved in what is happening at National level in the different countries where we have members and bring our advice and experience. To make this possible, we have designated a specific Board Member for each market, based on their working area and interests and they will be attending at least one National Board meeting each year to build stronger working relationships and to better align interests.”
