The first Hyatt-branded hotel in Uzbekistan opens its doors. This is seen as an opportunity for Tashkent to further develop its infrastructure and tourism with the hotel providing over 300 guest rooms and 2,300sqm of events facilities. The hotel is located in the epicentre of the city’s sights and businesses, even bordering Tashkent’s prestigious National Library. Bates is proud to have been engaged as Project Manager for the project.
The hotel will feature 300 guest rooms, 52 of which suites, a 24hour gym, a spa, an indoor swimming pool, and an 855 sqm pillar-less Regency Ballroom. Guests will also be able to experience the four on-site restaurants and bars featuring local and international cuisines.
“This was an important step for Bates and another example of our ability to successfully deliver projects from even outside our region. Hyatt Tashkent was naturally a challenging endeavour due to its importance to the Hyatt brand and the city’s impression, but with the cooperation of the client, Hyatt and the contractor we were collectively very satisfied with the outcome,” said Mirolub Petrinski, partner at Bates.
“All throughout the design and construction period we have found Bates as a company of total integrity, reliable and extremely professional. It would be our pleasure to recommend their services in the field of Project Management. We would definitely be considering to have Bates again for our future developments,” commented Iliya Lemeshkin, Director at Poytaxt Quirilish va Xizmat
