Savills represented Nowa S.A. in the lease transaction of nearly 3,500 sqm of warehouse space in Distribution Park Sosnowiec, owned by Hines. The largest importer of Chinese and Indonesian products on the Polish market has for the first time decided to expand its logistic base in the form of a lease.
Nowa S.A. was founded in 1996. The company imports among others: decorative items (Christmas, spring and year-round), ceramics, glass, toys and small home appliances. Nowa S.A. supplies retail chains such as Carrefour, Auchan, Pepco, E.Leclerc, TXM, PSB-Mrówka, Intermarché, Bricomarché and Merkury Market.
The lease agreement signed by Nowa S.A. in Hines’ Distribution Park Sosnowiec includes warehouse space as well as office and a social area. The new logistics space is located in the vicinity of the existing Nowa S.A. wholesale store in Sosnowiec. The importer also owns a warehouse in Piaseczno, near Warsaw.
Distribution Park Sosnowiec consists of two warehouses totalling 47,100 sqm of space. The main advantage of the logistic park is an easy access to the S1 express road. Hines Global REIT is owner of the facility and Hines Polska is property manager. Other tenants of Distribution Park Sosnowiec include ABC Data, Delta Plus, Eurocash and ThyssenKrupp.
