Panattoni has launched the next phase of its investment in the Pomeranian region. As part of Panattoni Park Gdańsk West II, a facility with an area of 39,000 sqm will be developed and delivered in Q1 2026. One of the tenants in the new building will be NRF Thermal Engineering Poland – an international leader in cooling solutions. The advisory firm Newmark Polska represented the company during the site selection and lease negotiations. NRF will occupy 12,000 sqm to relocate and expand production processes currently carried out at another location.
“This move is an important milestone for us, since it is fully aligned with our strategic vision as a company. We’re expanding just five years after launching our operations in Poland. The fast pace of this growth is especially rewarding, since a big part of that success comes from the strong reception we’ve had in the rail sector, both in the aftermarket and original equipment. The new facility will help us keep up the momentum and continue supporting our customers with the quality they count on and even greater efficiency. We are excited about what’s ahead,” says Ángela García, Director Industrial & Marine, NRF.
“Our latest development in the Pomeranian Voivodeship is a natural response to the growing activity of industrial investors, who are increasingly choosing Gdańsk as an operational hub for production and export. This region is successfully leveraging its infrastructure and talent pool. We are pleased that a globally recognised company like NRF is joining the tenant roster of Panattoni Park Gdańsk West II. The choice of this facility has strategic importance for the company – it will enhance efficiency, improve logistics, and provide a strong foundation for scaling up production in the years to come,” said Martyna Sochaczewska, Leasing Director at Panattoni.
“Relocating will enable our client to increase production capacity and consolidate operations in one area of the Tricity. Choosing Panattoni Park Gdańsk West II was made easier thanks to the developer’s flexibility and technical support in organising production. We are pleased that NRF has achieved its goals, and we look forward to future collaborations,” said Michał Rafałowicz, Regional Director at Newmark Polska.
Panattoni Park Gdańsk West II, situated in Kowale near Gdańsk, is a modern industrial complex with a planned total area exceeding 113,000 sqm. Two buildings totalling 73,000 sqm are already operational, and a third one – which will house NRF’s new facility – is under construction.
Thanks to its convenient location near the S6 and S7 expressways and only 10 km from the Gdańsk city centre, the complex offers excellent access to major transport routes across Poland and Europe. A key feature of the new hall will be an additional van ramp, increasing functionality and allowing flexible adaptation to tenants’ needs.
In line with Panattoni’s standard, the new facility will undergo environmental certification under the BREEAM method at the “Excellent” level.
