P3, a long-term investor, developer, and manager of high-quality warehouse properties, announced the extension of a multi-year lease agreement for over 50,596 sqm of warehouse space, already used by its existing tenant – the owner of the OBI DIY retail chain.
Park P3 Lodz I is located in the central part of the country, at the A2 motorway intersection with the route E75 and the national road no. 72. This location guarantees efficient and comfortable connections with major metropolitan areas in Poland and abroad. At the same time, the distance to the city centre is only 20 km and the nearest airport is 27 km away. OBI already fully occupies one warehouse in the park, but the plot allows for further expansion and the construction of another building of nearly 25,000 sqm.
The facility used by OBI is certified under the BREEAM system at the Very Good level, and it has become the company’s main warehouse, where all the products that can be found in OBI’s 61 DIY stores in 41 cities in the country are stored.
Iwona Sadowska, Head of Leasing, P3 Logistic Parks in Poland, said: “We are delighted that OBI – one of our key tenants – has decided to continue our cooperation and it is staying at the P3 Lodz I Park. The agreement extension for the following years confirms the client’s trust in the quality of our services and the strategic location of the Lodz park on the logistics map of Poland. With our flexible approach and the support our team offers throughout the entire lease, we do our best to effectively support the development of our business partners.”
Hubert Wojtera, Head of Industrial and Logistics Space, AXI IMMO, said: “The renegotiated agreement is a result and an example of a well-executed process in which the developer’s flexibility has been crucial. This refers both to its commercial terms and the space options tailored specifically to the tenant’s needs. Keeping the tenant in this location is a sign of their satisfaction with the existing relationship, as well as with the advantages of the park itself, including the fact that it offers possibilities for further expansion. The developer, as part of the agreement extension, has also prepared some improvements to increase the functionality and comfort of the occupied space.”
