In a series of deals completed in the last 6 months, pan-European logistics real estate developer and investor P3 Logistics Parks has signed leases on four properties on three different parks in Poland.
At P3’s 175,000 sqm Błonie park, to the west of Warsaw, two fast-growing businesses – e-commerce company AGITO and leading CEE/CIS paper merchant Europapier – are both expanding their existing facilities. AGITO, which currently occupies a 13,096 sqm warehouse, has now taken an additional 3,686 sqm of space, while Europapier has taken an extra 5,268 sqm of warehouse space and another 166 sqm of offices.
At the same time, logistics company Fiege has renewed its commitment to its facility at the 142,000 sqm P3 Mszczonów, south west of Warsaw. The company, which currently occupies a total of 42,650 sqm at the park, has extended its lease on 16,778 sqm of warehousing plus 429 sqm of offices to 2018. The space is used to store automotive parts.
Finally, SUSHI Factory, has taken a 2,400 sqm warehouse at P3 Poznań, a 100,000 sqm park located in the Gądki logistics area, south of Poznań. SUSHI Factory high tech production facility makes sushi sets and distributes them to Poland’s leading food retailers. The company HQ is located in Poznań and it chose P3 Poznań for its strong strategic location and availability of workforce in nearby Gmina Kórnik, where unemployment is around 10 percent.
Commenting on the deals, Andrzej Wroński, Head of P3 Poland, said: “We view the deals with existing occupiers in P3 Poznań and P3 Mszczonów as a real vote of confidence in P3’s service-led approach to asset management which is focussed on building long term relationships with businesses. We are delighted to be able to support our customers by providing them with more space as their businesses grow or flexible leasing options.”
He continued: “At the same time, we are of course always pleased to welcome new customers to our parks and, as a fan of great sushi, I am particularly happy that SUSHI Factory has chosen P3 Poznań for its new production facility. Securing leases on nearly 29,000 sqm in a very short period of time demonstrates the strong demand for good quality, well located logistics and production space across Poland since the beginning of 2015.”
