P3 Logistic Parks, a long-term investor, developer and manager of logistics real estate, has signed a lease agreement with Iglotex, one of Poland’s leading producers and distributors of frozen food. The company has leased 9,260 sqm of space at P3 Błonie.
Under the five-year contract, Iglotex will occupy 4,731 sqm of warehouse space, 2,021 sqm of chilled storage, 2,020 sqm of freezer space and 487 sqm of office space. Fit-out works were carried out for the tenant, including the conversion of an existing cold store into freezer space and the modernisation of part of the dry warehouse into a chilled storage area with an anteroom. A total of 30 parking spaces will be available at the facility.
According to the developer, the building has been designed to the highest standards of energy efficiency and environmental performance. It has been awarded a BREEAM “Very Good” certification and holds an EPC energy efficiency rating of B, indicating low energy consumption and high thermal insulation. This translates into lower operating costs and reduced carbon dioxide emissions, confirming P3’s commitment to sustainable development and the creation of modern, environmentally friendly logistics facilities.
Magdalena Hilgier, Senior Leasing Manager at P3 Logistic Parks in Poland, comments: “We are pleased to welcome Iglotex among our tenants at P3 Błonie. It is a well-established company that requires specialist space with high refrigeration parameters. Thanks to the flexible approach and experience of our team, we were able to tailor the building to the client’s individual needs while ensuring high energy efficiency and a comfortable working environment.”
Piotr Olechowski, Operations Director at Iglotex, adds: “The dynamic development of our logistics network is a response to the growing needs of our customers and the expansion of our product portfolio. Cooperation with P3 gives us access to modern infrastructure and enables the optimisation of warehousing and transport processes. The leased facility meets the highest quality standards, offers advanced technological solutions and includes infrastructure dedicated to products requiring controlled temperature conditions. As a result, Iglotex will increase operational efficiency and shorten delivery times to retail and foodservice customers.”
In the course of the transaction, the tenant was represented by the advisory firm Colliers.
P3 Błonie is one of the largest logistics parks in the Warsaw region. It currently comprises 15 buildings with a total area of 316,000 sqm, with a further two buildings under construction, which will increase the total leasable area to over 365,000 sqm.
