Panattoni Europe has expands its automotive customer portfolio. The new addition is BENTELER Automotive – the German manufacturer of automotive structures, engine and exhaust systems, chassis and modules, part of the internationally known corporation, BENTELER-Group.
The manufacturer has leased around 6,600 sqm at Panattoni Park Września – more than 4,700 sqm will be earmarked for the assembly and storage of chassis components for vans, offices will occupy more than 600 sqm, and more than 1,300 sqm will be taken up by reloading tunnels. The lease was mediated by the advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield.
Września is a dynamically growing region within Greater Poland, attracting the interest of many investors, also from the automotive sector. Robert Dobrzycki, Chief Executive Officer Europe, Panattoni Europe, commented: “One of the largest production facilities of Volkswagen is being built here, and we as a developer are ready to cater for the direct suppliers of parts and components involved in making the new-generation VW Crafter, offering an excellent location – Panattoni Park Września.”
Urszula Rasmussen, Senior Negotiator at the Industrial and Warehouse Space Department of Cushman & Wakefield, added: “For BENTELER, a Tier 1 supplier, the key issue was the location of the warehouse allowing for Just In Time supplies to the customer’s factory. Panattoni has demonstrated a dynamic and flexible approach to finding the best solution for our client.”
