Panattoni Europe is developing its first first logistics centre in Białystok. The developer’s new project – Panattoni Park Białystok – featuring roughly 40,600 sqm, is being executed in full and already at this stage 50 percent of the space has been commercialised. Completion of construction works on the entire investment is planned for the end of Q3 2018.
Panattoni Europe expands the warehousing map of Poland. Recently, the developer has launched as many as three new projects in emerging markets – in Lublin, Kielce and Zielona Góra, and now gets going with a fourth one in Białystok. The new 40,620-sqm investment, Panattoni Park Białystok, will comprise three buildings featuring respectively: 3818 sqm, 22,321 sqm and 14,481 sqm. The multi-tenant logistics centre is designed for tenants representing various business sectors – from logistics to light manufacturing. Thanks to such flexibility, 50 percent of the investment has already been spoken for, which is evidence of the success of the developer’s new location. First tenants will be able to move into the park as soon as July 2018.
Białystok is the largest and fastest-growing city in Podlasie, a supra-regional academic and scientific centre with 15 schools of tertiary education whose proximity to the eastern border has been drawing in new investors for years.
Dorota Jagodzińska, Managing Director, Panattoni Europe, commented: “Białystok, the heart of Podlasie, is a dynamically growing part of the country which attracts many investors, from both Poland and abroad. We must not overlook the enormous potential afforded by the presence of universities here, the investments undertaken by the City as well as the successful Białystok Subzone of the Suwałki Special Economic Zone.”
Panattoni Park Białystok, lies within the administrative city limits of Białystok, not far from the city bypass and 60 km from the border crossing in Kuźnica. The investment is approx. 1 km away from the European route E67 (road S8), connecting Wrocław, Łódź, Warsaw and Białystok, which guarantees very good connection with major markets at home and abroad. Once the upgrade of the S8 motorway is completed, the city will gain importance on the logistics map. The fact that the park is in the city limits makes for convenient access from and to the city centre, also by public transport as there are bus stops nearby.
