Park Lane Developments has broken ground on its new project – AYA business center in Sofia. The building will be the new home of the company MFG Group and will have a total area of over 13,350 sqm with eight above-ground and two underground floors. It is located near Vitosha metro station and the largest shopping centre in Bulgaria – Paradise Center.
Park Lane Developments launched the project in 2022 as a speculative investment, but early in the planning process, the Park Lane Developments team entered into a sale deal with MFG on a built-to-suit model. The design is adapted and reflects all the specific requirements the group has to create a comfortable, functional and modern office environment. MFG’s total investment in the project will be around €30 million.
The building is set to be completed two years after the start of construction activities. Funding is provided with the support of UBB. The project of the building is by the company Planning of architect Iliyan Iliev, and the companies “Hydroinject” and “Venkov Engineering” will perform the strengthening and excavation of the construction.
“The future of office spaces is in green design and energy efficiency, as well as in the experience of the occupants. Our ambition is to make sure AYA business center becomes an emblematic site for the highest standards of the Bulgarian office market. We thank MFG for the trust and partnership and for sharing our vision of convenience, efficiency and functionality in the workplace,” commented Tanya Kosseva-Boshova, managing partner at Park Lane Developments.
“In the group, we invest in the motivation and development of our people and teams, who are our most valuable resource. They deserve the best and the decision to bring all companies together in one place is strategic. In this way, we will all be able to benefit from a state-of-the-art office environment in which we can develop our potential and skills, draw inspiration and spend our time with colleagues to the fullest. We will create our value for society in an environment that predisposes to easy inclusion and quick and successful socialization”, commented Nedelcho Spasov and Stanimir Vassilev, co-founders and shareholders of MFG.
