Pasaż Górczewska in Warsaw’s Bemowo district has expanded its offer with a new store from the Swedish multi-market chain Jula. The new store opened to customers on March 27 and offers 2,200 sqm of leasable space.
Jula at Pasaż Górczewska is the 24th store of the Swedish chain in Poland and the 4th in Warsaw. To celebrate the opening, the store prepared gift bags worth PLN 200 for the first 200 customers, attractive promotions, and additional benefits for JulaClub members.
“Pasaż Górczewska turned out to be a natural choice for Jula’s fourth store in Warsaw, which has been long-awaited by residents of Bemowo, Wola, and surrounding areas and offers a unique product selection. With the opening of the Kaufland hypermarket, Pasaż Górczewska has entered a new chapter in its commercial history. After the opening of the Murall Climbing Center and the Klockownia Education and Fun Center, it is now time for the Jula multimarket – and that’s not the end of the changes. This is our response to the needs of residents in one of the fastest-growing areas of Warsaw. It’s a good example of how a well-located retail site can increase in significance over time, supported by favourable infrastructure development. We believe the opening of Jula will attract strong customer interest and fit into their everyday shopping needs,” says Anna Pływacz, Director of the Retail Leasing Department at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.
The new opening has expanded Pasaż Górczewska’s tenant mix, which offers a variety of neighbourhood-friendly shopping options – from everyday essentials (Kaufland, Maxi Zoo, Drogerie Natura) to home furnishing brands (JYSK, Black Red White, Komfort), electronics and appliances (Media Markt), and sports equipment (Sports Direct). Pasaż Górczewska has also become a popular spot for children and youth, thanks to its recreational offer, including the Klockownia Education and Fun Center and the Murall Climbing Center.
“We are pleased that the Jula multi-market chain has chosen Pasaż Górczewska for its next location, giving consumers access to Swedish quality at affordable prices. Warsaw and its surroundings have long been an attractive environment for business development. With stable economic growth, a rising population, and increasing demand for modern shopping solutions, it’s a great place for retail and service expansion. Jula clearly understands this, and by opening a new store, it becomes part of a project that is now entering its second life. We are confident the tenant will benefit from the surrounding retail environment and the purchasing power of the wider area,” adds Fabrice Paumelle, Head of Retail at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.
