PKB Inwest Budowa developing a retail park in northern Poland

The company has received a final construction permit and selected the general contractor for the retail park in Pyrzyce (West Pomeranian Voivodeship). The opening is planned for the first quarter of 2025.

The retail and service park in Pyrzyce will have a leasable area of 2,000 sqm, 800 meters from the city centre, near recreational and sports facilities, including the municipal stadium. This will be the first retail park in Pyrzyce.

“Until now, the 13,000 residents of Pyrzyce had to travel to larger cities like Szczecin or Gorzów Wielkopolski, located several kilometres away, to access modern shopping options. Soon, they will be able to shop locally. I hope that the offerings we are preparing will meet their expectations,” said Jacek Ostwald, a partner at PKB Inwest Budowa.

The park will feature five stores from well-known and popular retail chains, each with its entrance directly from the parking lot. Near the park are grocery discount stores such as Lidl and Biedronka. A Bricomarche store offering home and garden products is also planned right next to the facility. The general contractor for the retail park in Pyrzyce is STRON-BUD S.C.

“This year, we plan to develop five retail parks with a total leasable area of nearly 30,000 sqm. Our experience to date shows that retail parks have become the preferred shopping format for Poles in recent years, whether in smaller towns or larger cities,” said Henryk Pichłacz, a partner at PKB Inwest Budowa.

The completion of the Pyrzyce project is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.
