In late August, at Villa Foksal in Warsaw, the Top Woman in Real Estate Gala was celebrated. The event summed up a year of challenges and successes for women who manage and lead in various areas of the real estate sector. Statuettes were awarded in as many as 18 categories: from architecture and construction to sales, legal services and innovation.
“The gala is the culmination of 12 months of great cooperation between businesswomen. But, most of all, ladies offering each other mutual support in building a career path, so that they have the courage to act in a decisive, visionary and effective manner,” said Krystyna Swojak, Organizer of the Top Woman in Real Estate Gala.
This year, over 120 participants entered the 4th edition of the competition. Their candidatures were evaluated by an independent jury consisting of presidents and managing directors of companies from the real estate and construction industry and the winners of the previous edition.
Some of the awards that deserve special attention include Pro-women Company – a statuette for Greenberg Traurig Grzesiak and Best Team – a statuette for Panattoni, Renata Kinde-Czyż from Metro Properties as Personality of the Year and Marzena Maj from Smay – voted the Top Woman in Real Estate. The awards for these companies show a real change of attitude that is taking place in leading companies in the industry, highlighting the role of women in real estate.
“We appreciate everyone who has knowledge, energy and the same values are important to them: trust, respect and tolerance. And women are strong, determined, empathetic and play as a team, and I am very happy that it has been noticed by our community and rewarded,” said Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch, Head of Real Estate in Poland at Greenberg Traurig Grzesiak.
“There are extremely ambitious and self-disciplined people in my team,” said Anita Pietrykowska, Head of Marketing & Communications Europe at Panattoni. “I have confidence in each of them. In addition to outstanding individuals, the award for Best Team owes its success to the company’s favourable working conditions, the amazing atmosphere, the willingness to cooperate and a sense of mission in the organization.”
“I have been in the real estate industry for 24 years and this award has recognised and appreciated my work. It is a great pleasure to receive congratulations from past and present bosses as well as colleagues,” said Renata Kinde-Czyż, President of the Management Board of Metro Properties.
In total, over 240 people representing the real estate industry came to the Gala to personally congratulate the winners of each category. They included representatives of key companies from the sector, as well as visionaries and mentors from the real estate market.
“I believe that the real estate industry in Poland creates great working conditions for women and men. There are no divisions here, and there are extremely interesting business fields to be developed in the field of design, construction, financing, legal services or the analytics of real estate markets. It is a place where the most modern technological solutions as well as world trends in the field of running a business enter. Even though my children are still very young, this is a professional field that I will certainly recommend to them,” concluded Anita Pietrykowska.
