Prologis acquires new building in the Greater Prague region

Prologis has expanded its presence in the Prague region with the acquisition of a modern warehouse building totalling 17,455 sqm. The property is located in Rudná, 20 km from Prague city centre, and has been newly incorporated into Prologis Park Prague-Rudná.

The acquired asset includes a cross-dock terminal for the rapid transfer of goods between inbound and outbound transport, as well as logistics warehouse space. Both facilities are operated by DSV, which will continue to use the site under a sale-and-leaseback agreement.

The building features a range of sustainable solutions, including a large rooftop photovoltaic installation, charging stations for both passenger and commercial electric vehicles, an LNG station, full LED lighting, and additional environmentally friendly measures.

Following the acquisition, Prologis Park Prague-Rudná now offers more than 254,000 sqm of modern logistics and production space. The newly acquired property is the 20th building within the park. The site benefits from a strategic location at Exit 5 of the D5 motorway, providing excellent connectivity to the German border. It is situated just 12 km from Václav Havel Airport Prague and approximately 6 km from the Prague city limits, making it an ideal logistics hub for both domestic and international distribution.

This transaction represents a significant step in strengthening Prologis’ position in the greater Prague region, where the company operates more than 1.2 million sqm of modern logistics and industrial space.
