Przystanek Karkonosze, a retail park under construction in Miłków in the suburbs of Karpacz, is drawing tenants interested in expanding in a region that for years was dominated by small-scale trade. The percentage of commercialization calculated based on signed agreements has exceeded 80 percent. The remaining retail space is in advanced negotiations with future tenants.
Przystanek Karkonosze will be the largest retail park in the region with a retail area of approximately 16,000 sqm, 30 shops and service units and a grocery chain Lidl Polska. The excellent location of the new retail facility at the junction of roads to key towns in the region will provide convenient access for residents and the many tourists visiting the Karkonosze region throughout the year.
A diversified tenant mix and access to brands so far unavailable with stores in Karpacz and the immediate vicinity, such as HalfPrice or the new Worldbox brand, will make the emerging park a dominant retail destination.
Among the future tenants, there will be a strong representation of clothing and footwear shops, such as the above-mentioned HalfPrice and Worldbox, Ochnik, Wojas, Sinsay, Diverse, CCC or New Yorker, which so far has been known for its presence mainly in shopping centres. There will also be a sports offer from the 4F and Martes Sport retailers, a drugstore offer including Rossmann, and a jewellery offer from APART. Consumer electronics will be found at Media Expert, while a wide range of products for the home will be offered at the TEDi shop.
“We are opening Przystanek Karkonosze in August this year. Six months before the launch, the percentage of commercialization exceeded 80 percent, which is the best indication of the tenants’ interest in our investment and expansion in the area. We are fully aware that both Miłków and Karpacz, as well as the nearby surroundings, are already waiting for the opening. Residents are eager for a modern retail park with a variety of shops, a multitude of products and a well-liked grocery operator. We are convinced that Przystanek Karkonosze will quickly gain the fondness of customers, becoming the first choice for everyday shopping. The wide range of attractive products will contribute to frequent and spontaneous visits. This is where the heart of commerce in the region will beat,” commented Elżbieta Kutrasińska, Head of Leasing Redkom Development.
In the process of commercializing the facility, Redkom Development is working with Mallson Polska.
