Radial has agreed with MLP Group on a new lease on an extra 8,100 sqm in MLP Pruszków II, doubling its warehouse capacity in the logistics centre. Of that total, close to 6,500 sqm was handed over to the tenant in early August, while the remaining space will be delivered in early November 2022. As a result, Radial doubled its warehouse capacity in the logistics centre near Warsaw to around 17,000 sqm. The tenant was represented in the transaction by Axi Immo.
The logistics operator moved into the logistics centre near Warsaw about two years ago, leasing just over 9,000 sqm, of which 8,100 sqm is warehouse space and around 1,000 sqm is a modern office and social space. The tenant was advised of the new lease and the deal was agreed upon two years ago by real estate advisory agency Axi Immo.
“Radial is another client of ours who has recently increased space leased in MLP Pruszków II, taking advantage of the strong potential for continued expansion of this logistics centre. With the new lease, we almost doubled the scope of our cooperation. Our partners appreciate the highly flexible approach of MLP Group to their ongoing needs and scale of business. The prime location of the centre in the immediate vicinity of the Warsaw conurbation and close to a junction of the A2 motorway is also key to them,” said Tomasz Pietrzak, Leasing Director Poland, MLP Group S.A.
“Following the rapid growth of our business operations, we needed to significantly increase our space. At the same time we were very satisfied with our cooperation with MLP Group, so given the opportunity to contract additional space, taking such a decision seemed only natural. In the new space we are focusing on advanced automation supporting warehousing processes that will enable us to deliver the highest quality logistics services,” said Tomasz Okowiak, Management Board Member, Radial Poland.
“It is another of our successful collaborations with Radial, in which we had the pleasure of representing the company in acquiring new space. The client was pleased with the existing location and the excellent relationship with a stable and reliable developer. When the expansion decision was made, the two parties very quickly found agreement on a new contract,” explains Karol Osiecki, Associate Director of Industrial & Development, and Jakub Wojtera, Consultant, Industrial & Logistics, AXI IMMO.
