Reconstruction work at Distribution Park Annopol completed – EuropaProperty

Hines Polska has announced that reconstruction work at Distribution Park Annopol in Warsaw had been completed and an additional 6,440 sqm warehouse and 699 sqm office space have been added at Daniszewska Street. The facility was operational in less than eight months from the signing of the lease and the construction period lasted five months.

The major tenant of the space is DPD Poland Sp. Ltd., one of the largest courier companies in Poland, part of an international network of GeoPost. The lease agreement will be valid for the next 10 years.

Kamil Kwiatkowski, Leasing Manager, Hines Polska commented, “DPD Poland is a very important client for the logistics portfolio. Distribution Park Annopol is able to satisfy customer needs in terms of strategic location, functionality and efficient use of available space. The reconstructed project is a friendly and attractive place to work and fully meets the high requirements of the specific nature of the business of the DPD.”

“This investment is a continuation of our strategy and another stage of the long-term cooperation with Hines. The new DPD Polska depot at Daniszewska Street in Warsaw meets our expectations concerning the proper location and facilities installed,” said Rafał Nawłoka, chief executive officer of DPD Polska. “With convenient road connections to the city center, and key transit routes as well as modern loading solutions inside, we can carry out orders more efficiently. Since mid-August we have worked in the new warehouse and office space at full-operational range.”

The office of KJK – Krzysztof Jopek, and Goldbeck Sp. of o.o, designed the project. was the general contractor.

DPD Poland is also one of the major tenants at Distribution Park Okęcie, also managed by Hines Poland.
