Colliers International has published the results of the Office Agency’s Landlord Representation team. This year, the Polish office real estate market has seen record transactions. In close to 7 months of 2019, Colliers International’s experts representing property owners have leased in total 93,129 sqm of office space. This is more than the department’s total transaction volume in 2018 (88,106 sqm).
The biggest transaction in which Colliers International’s experts participated is the lease of more than 46,000 sqm of office space to mBank in Mennica Legacy Tower, the skyscraper being built in Warsaw’s Wola district. In the transaction, Colliers represented Golub GetHouse, the owner and developer of the building. Other large lease transactions carried out by the team include 12,780 sqm of office space to AXA in Warsaw Trade Tower, owned by Globalworth, and 4,788 sqm to the OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in Młodziejowski Palace, owned by Patrizia.
“The first half of 2019 was a very successful period for us in terms of leased space. We are not going to slow down in the upcoming months, though. We are planning the rapid development of the department in Warsaw, both in terms of the projects we support and headcount. We also want to strengthen our presence in regional markets. I believe that this strategy combined with the knowledge and experience of our experts will translate into subsequent excellent results,” says Izabela Kapil, head of Landlord Representation at Office Agency, Colliers International.
“Since the start of 2018, we have represented owners in transactions involving more than 180,000 sqm of office space. We are very pleased with our growth so far and the performance of our business line. The quality of our work is confirmed by more than 40 office projects that we are supporting with our active and competent consulting, including Skysawa, PHN’s flagship project, the commercialisation of which we are just launching. The joining of Iza Kapil is an additional confirmation of our focus on the quality of customer service and care for the company’s continuous growth,” says Łukasz Żelezik, partner, director in Office Agency, Colliers International.
Colliers International in Poland represents owners of as many as 43 modern office buildings with total space of more than 645,000 sqm, including Astoria Premium Offices, Koszyki, Ethos, Mennica Legacy Tower, Skysawa, Plac Unii and Silver Tower Center.
