Redkom Development and Newgate Investment have officially opened Comfy Park Bydgoszcz. The retail park was developed by Redkom Development for Newgate Investment, the project’s new owner.
Comfy Park Bydgoszcz is located at 115 Jana Pawła II Avenue, on the site of the former Carrefour Glinki hypermarket and shopping centre. The scheme serves several major residential districts of Bydgoszcz, including Glinki, Wyżyny, Szwederowo, and Wzgórze Wolności.
The first phase of the development delivered 16,000 sqm of GLA, with further expansion already planned by Redkom Development.
The tenant mix combines leading value retail brands with operators enhancing the project’s everyday convenience offer. Tenants include Carrefour, Rossmann, TEDi, Pepco, Jysk, Media Expert, Sinsay, Woolworth, Maxi Zoo, Łap Ciuszek, Bottlery, Dr Materac, CentrumRowerowe.pl, Xtreme Fitness, Xtreme Kids, Żabka, and Piekarnia Grochola.
“We continue to consistently expand within the large-format retail park segment, delivering projects in cooperation with various investors. Comfy Park Bydgoszcz is another Redkom Development project added to the portfolio of Newgate Investment, following developments such as Ozimska Park and Comfy Park Bielik in Bielsko-Biała. We wish both the tenants and Newgate Investment every success and hope that regular visits to the new retail park quickly become part of the daily routines of residents,” said Łukasz Komierowski, CEO of Redkom Development.
“From the very beginning, Comfy Park Bydgoszcz was planned as a comprehensive retail destination – not only as a project complementing the city’s retail offering, but also as a convenient and functional place for residents. Alongside the development itself, we were committed to delivering modern infrastructure and transportation improvements. We are very pleased to have created a destination with such a broad and well-tailored tenant mix that genuinely responds to the needs of the local community. We believe Comfy Park will become a convenient, everyday destination for shopping and social interaction. We would like to thank our partners for making this project possible – Redkom, Daldehog, the City of Bydgoszcz, our tenants, and everyone involved in the delivery of this investment,” said Krystian Modrzejewski, CIO of Newgate Investment.
To date, Redkom Development has delivered approximately 100,000 sqm of retail park space, including BIG Łubna, Ozimska Park, Comfy Park Bielik, Przystanek Karkonosze, BIG Dzierżoniów, and Comfy Park Bydgoszcz.
The company’s development pipeline currently includes several projects at advanced stages of construction, including Park Handlowy Świderek in Otwock, a mixed-use recreation and retail project in Lublin, and a retail park in Białystok. Together, these developments will deliver more than 50,000 sqm of GLA, with openings scheduled throughout 2026.
