REINO-IO buys 5 logistics parks in Poland for UK’s Grosvenor Group

REINO-IO, an entity established by REINO Capital, a holding company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and IO Asset Management, a specialized industrial asset manager, expanded its managed portfolio with five top-quality logistics parks in Poland. The purchase from AEW was made through the Polish Logistics LLP vehicle for the international real estate company Grosvenor Group.

Five logistics parks located in Łódź, Poznań, Sosnowiec, Bielsko-Biała and Rzeszów with a total area (GLA) of 209,000 sqm is leased to 28 tenants, mainly from the retail, light industry and specialized logistics sectors. Among them, the most important are large, stable entities such as Hutchinson, Omega, Pilzno, DAMCO and Pekaes.

The acquisition of a portfolio of 5 logistics parks is the second investment of Polish Logistics LLP after the acquisition in June 2020 of Logistic City in Piotrków, which includes 135,000 sqm (GLA) of built and leased space and development land with a potential for another 300,000 sqm of the area planned for selected tenants.

The investment portfolio of Polish Logistics LLP is managed by REINO IO Logistics, a joint venture that combines REINO’s local competencies and IO AM’s specialist knowledge in the field of industrial real estate. Soon, the partners intend to expand their portfolio by acquiring both existing investments and land for build-to-suit development.

Polish Logistics LLP advised on the transaction: Dentons and CBRE, and the seller Allen & Overy and JLL. Debt financing was provided by BNP Paribas Bank Polska.
