RICS Romania is honoured to support the forthcoming European Real Estate Society (ERES) Annual Conference, taking place this year for the first time in Bucharest, from 25-28 June.
ERES was established in 1994 to create an international real estate network between academics and professionals across Europe. ERES is dedicated to promoting and advancing the real estate discipline and specifically property-based research throughout Europe. One of the core activities of ERES is its annual conference, so it is particularly significant that this event is being held in Bucharest in 2014, on the 21st anniversary of the Society’s founding.
The ERES Annual Conference provides an open forum for the exchange of ideas and the dissemination of research.
This 4-day event is the leading real estate conference in Bucharest in 2014, and during the Conference there will be over 200 presentations and seminars covering virtually every aspect of the real estate discipline, including market sector trends, property and asset management, investment, financing, valuation, green issues and sustainability, urban planning, taxation, legal topics, and many more.
A wide variety of international specialists and real estate professionals will attend, promote and debate these issues with interactive presentations.
RICS Romania Chairman Radu Boitan FRICS commented, “As the leading global professional real estate organization with more than 110 qualified members, RICS in Romania is delighted to support the Conference, since it provides a prestigious platform to promote cutting-edge research and market-leading education in the real estate sector, and we consider that the choice of Romania for the 2014 Conference also recognises Romania’s evolving maturity in the real estate markets of Europe.”
RICS Romania is hosting the ERES Welcome Reception on Wednesday 25th June, which is also the occasion of the Annual Meeting of RICS Romania Members. This will be a major opportunity for ERES and RICS members to network with leading personalities in the real estate sector throughout Europe.
