Rise.pl, a Polish operator of co-working space and serviced offices, has leased 1,450 sqm of office space in the Galileo building in Krakow. Savills, as an exclusive agent of the building, represented its owner, GTC.
In addition to flexible workplaces available for short-term rental, Rise.pl offers business support services, such as virtual office, accountancy and assistance in registering companies. The company operates in several Polish cities (Warsaw, Rzeszów, Katowice and Krakow using owned offices and offices franchised from LC Trade) and the Czech Republic. The company has been on the market since 2003. The services of Rise.pl in the Galileo building will be available from April 2018.
“In recent months, we have been witnessing a dynamic development of the flexible workplaces. Rise.pl is a company that has been present in Poland for a long time, with a strong position primarily on the Krakow market, from which it originates. The presence of the operator will allow existing tenants of the building to rent a serviced office for a short period, which is a very convenient solution if you need to quickly launch an additional project,” said Dariusz Karwański, Associate Director, Landlord Representation at Savills Office Agency.
According to the Savills report “Flexible Workplaces in Poland”, Krakow is the second largest co-working and serviced offices market in Poland, with nearly 15,000 sqm of flexible office space in 25 locations.
Galileo along with Edison, Pascal and Newton buildings are a part of office complex owned by GTC. The complex is located in one of the best-known office locations in Krakow, at Armii Krajowej Street. It offers high standard of office design, flexible space arrangement and numerous amenities for tenants. Galileo has 10,600 sqm of office space.
This year, the complex underwent a refurbishment, resulting in installation of green pergolas on the axis of the complex, new visual identification of tenants and complete renewal of the reception lobbies of three buildings, including Galileo as well as creating a gym, a salt grotto and a conference room on the ground floor of Edison building for exclusive use of tenants.
