Apsys Polska has signed a contract for the management of the Riviera shopping centre in Gdynia, owned by Institutional European Real Estate, an open-ended real estate fund managed by Union Investment Real Estate GmbH. This is the result of winning the tender organized by the owner of the facility in the first half of the year.
The Riviera shopping centre is the largest shopping and entertainment facility in Pomerania. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the forest complex of the Tri-City Landscape Park and St. Maximilian in Gdynia. On two levels, on an area of 70,000 sqm there are 250 shops, including the Auchan grocery hypermarket, 30 restaurants and cafes and a six-screen Helios cinema, where two VIP rooms are also being built. There are 2,500 parking spaces available for motorists. The facility is certified in the BREEAM system at the Excellent level.
Since 2015, the property has been owned by the Union Investment Fund. The contract for the comprehensive management of the Riviera centre has been signed for 5 years. On July 1, 2023, Apsys Polska begins the process of taking over the facility from the current manager, to fully conduct management activities of the centre on October 1.
