Robert Dobrzycki, founder, co-owner and president of Panattoni in Europe, the UK and Asia, has been awarded Vector 2023 for creating a European company that is a leader in the construction and management of warehouse space and a business that is focused on meeting individual customer needs. The award was presented at a gala ceremony held in Warsaw, Poland.
The Vectors are awarded by the Employers of Poland – the oldest and largest organization of employers in Poland. The awards honour representatives of the world of business, politics, culture and the media, who especially influence the development of the Polish economy, identify innovative solutions and contribute to social and cultural development in Poland.
“It is a great honour to receive this award in such a distinguished group, but also a huge commitment to continue hard work. Nineteen years ago, we started from scratch in Europe and, in a short time became a recognized and respected player in the Polish and then European commercial real estate market. Now we are the ones setting the direction of development by managing the company from our headquarters in Warsaw, and we are entering more markets – now including Asia. I would like to thank the entire Panattoni team that works every day for this success,” said Robert Dobrzycki, CEO and co-owner of Panattoni in Europe and India.
In 2005, Robert Dobrzycki launched Panattoni in Europe. The chosen management strategy ensures the company’s continuous and systematic development. Already in 2010, the company reached the position of leader in the commercial real estate industry in Poland and maintains it to this day. Since 2020, it has also been the leader in Germany and the UK. Since 2017, the company has continuously ranked first in the Property EU ranking as the most active European industrial developer.
To date, Panattoni under the leadership of Robert Dobrzycki has delivered 22 million sqm of industrial space in Europe, changing the continent’s industrial landscape. In Poland, the company has completed more than 14 million sqm, accounting for almost half of the country’s industrial space volume.
Panattoni employs nearly 1,000 people and – in addition to Poland – operates in Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Hungary, and also opened its first office in India in 2021.
