Scallier is developing a modern retail park in Bolesławiec. The new shopping centre is being built within the city’s well-established retail district. For years, this area has been home to some of the most popular food service chains and leading grocery operators, steadily strengthening its position as one of the region’s key retail destinations.
The project is being developed on the site of a former Tesco supermarket, which Scallier acquired in partnership with a private investor. The investment involves a comprehensive redevelopment and modernisation of the existing property and infrastructure. The opening of the new retail park is scheduled for September 2026, reflecting an exceptionally short delivery timeline for a project of this scale.
Upon completion, the retail park will offer 5,000 sqm of gross leasable area (GLA). The project also includes the option to expand the scheme by 2,000 sqm, demonstrating the investor’s flexible approach to scaling the development in line with local market potential and tenant demand.
As Wojciech Jurga, Managing Partner at Scallier, emphasises, the company is responsible for the project’s end-to-end delivery, encompassing every stage from the initial investment concept and development process, through the management of the redevelopment works, to leasing activities and the long-term management of the property.
“At the current stage of construction, the retail park has already been fully leased. The project has attracted exceptionally strong interest from tenants. We have just signed the final lease agreement with ShockPrice, a new off-price retail chain operating within the Modivo Platform, which will occupy 1,700 sqm of space,” says Wojciech Jurga.
He adds that all the brands set to open in the new retail park will be making their debut in the Bolesławiec market, significantly enhancing the project’s competitive position and increasing its appeal to local consumers.
Residents of Bolesławiec will be able to make their first purchases at the new retail park shortly after this summer. The tenant mix includes ALDI, ShockPrice, Action, Xtreme Fitness, and the Dr Max pharmacy, which is already operating at the location. The scheme’s offering will also be complemented by a Petroprix unmanned fuel station.
