Shopping City Piatra Neamt officially opens in Romania – EuropaProperty

Shopping City Piatra Neamt, a new retail complex in Romania developed by New Europe Property Investments plc (NEPI), has officially opened its doors to the public. Constructed and managed by Optim Project Management, the project was completed in a record time frame of seven months.

“Optim PM started the works on site in May 2016, and this engagement was made possible through an extraordinary collaboration between our 15 professionals and the rest of the project team. Optim Project Management was in charge of construction and cost management, procurement, health & safety coordination and “diriginte de santier” services. In addition, Optim PM undertook the architectural, MEP installations and structural design and managed the fit out works of the Cinema City complex,” said the company’s press release.

Shopping City Piatra Neamt occupies a gross building area of 38,000 sqm, spreading over two levels and offering 70 retail units, as well as 1,000 parking spaces. The mall is anchored by a Carrefour hypermarket consisting of 7,500 sqm. Its tenant mix comprises various fashion, sports, electronics, beauty, accessories, furniture and kids stores, cafes, restaurants, services and leisure amenities.

Local and international retailers operating stores within Shopping City Piatra Neamt include Altex, Benvenuti, BSB, C&A, Cador, CCC, Deichmann, dm drogerie markt, Germanos, H&M, Inmedio, Intersport, Kendra, New Yorker and many others. Furthermore, the shopping centre also houses a Cinema City cinema on the first floor, offering 6 halls equipped with 2D and 3D technology.
