Skanska has started construction works on its seventh office building in Budapest. Nordic Light, as it has been named, is being developed on inner Váci road, the main office corridor of Budapest. Phase I is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2016.
The complex will comprise of 26,200 sqm of leasable area and will be built in two phases. The first building consists of 6,600 sqm of modern office space, while the second phase will provide offices on 19,600 sqm. Tenants will be able to use a three-level underground car park with 404 parking spaces, as well as bicycle racks with showers and changing rooms, fitted for cyclists’ convenience. The 8-storey building will be equipped with modern sustainable solutions providing optimal indoor environment quality combined with high cost-efficiency.
The project has already been LEED pre-certified with Gold rating thanks to its innovative solutions minimizing the building’s impact on the natural environment.
