JLL has successfully rented out the Albatros Business Centre in Prague 1. Almost 3,500 sqm of spaces on Národní třída will be occupied from spring 2019 by Spaces, a global coworking giant of Dutch origin, which will become a major tenant of the building next to Česká spořitelna. This opening of the first branch in the Czech Republic indicates a growing interest in this type of office.
“In the case of flexible spaces, the most important factor is the location and range of services in the neighborhood. Prague 1 is a logical choice in this respect and, with the opening of Spaces, it will further strengthen its dominant position in popularity between these operators,” said Martin Stričko, Senior Research Analyst in JLL.
Spaces provider, International Workplace Group (IWG), brings revolutionary changes to Prague regarding professional coworking spaces. It is thanks to their nearly thirty-years of experience in the field. After Romania and Poland, the Czech Republic is now the third country within the CEE region where Spaces will open its branch. More than 3,000 office centres are now operating in 120 countries worldwide making it the world’s largest operator of this kind of service.
“I personally believe that the Spaces concept will be among the best of all emerging centers in the heart of Prague, as it is in other countries of the world. The Albatros BC building also acquired a majority and stable tenant. We were delighted to cooperate in this transaction,” said Marta Kadlecová, Associate Director in JLL Tenant Representation department.
Coworking centres have a wide range of use, and thanks to Spaces long-term experience, perfect location, deep know-how and a professional and quiet work environment, Spaces offer to its clients a five-star service.
“We are pleased that Prague will join other international and European metropolises that offer this popular coworking concept to all who are looking for a creative and inspirational place to work in. Spaces is not just a trendy design, it is primarily a professional workplace with a high-quality level of service and technology that meets the highest demands of multinational corporations which can meet local freelancers and startup entrepreneurs in one place. It is a place that supports new ideas and partnerships. Expectations are great, but we have an attractive location and a successful proven concept, so we are ready to welcome the first clients already in April 2019,” added Karel Pelán, Country Manager IWG for Czech and Slovak Republic.
