Flexible office space provider Spaces leased 3,000 sqm of office space in Unirii View and will open in the autumn of 2018 its first business hub located in the central area of Bucharest.
Unirii View, due to be delivered this summer, will be the tallest modern office building in downtown Bucharest, with 19 floors and a leasable area of around 17,500 sqm. Works on the façade of the building are advancing rapidly while the structure (73 meters) was completed last month.
”The transaction closed with Spaces certifies once again the quality of Unirii View as a premium office product and also validates the Unirii area as a new business hub, taking into consideration that Spaces addresses the business environment and they know that there will be a high request for the space they have taken,” commented Yves Weerts, the investor behind Unirii View.
Spaces will implement in Unirii View, for the first time in Romania, a new office concept already available in over 30 countries around the Globe. Spaces is characterized by a modern and creative design, materialized in unique working environments that enhance the entrepreneurial spirit. Spaces puts an accent on the community, establishing new connections, and on the collaboration between professionals from different work fields.
Unirii View was assisted in the transaction by real estate consultant Griffes, in charge with the leasing process and the commercial management of the project, while Spaces was assisted by real estate consultant CBRE Romania.
”Spaces brings to the local market a new concept of premium co-working offices. We are confident that this new project represents a firm step forward for developing a strong network. Spaces is a leading brand of creative co-working environment in Romania and I think this is an important part of the success story of office premises in Bucharest. Moreover, from a larger perspective, it is a very good sign for the Romanian economy when such an important player like Spaces chooses to enter this market and to expand massively,” pointed out Razvan Iorgu, Managing Director, CBRE Romania.
Spaces, alongside Regus, Basepoint, No.18, Signature and Open Space, are part of International Workspace Group (IWG), a corporation that offers working spaces all over the Globe.
Several companies have already chosen Unirii View for their future headquarters, among whom are NTT Data Romania, Pernod Ricard Romania and Red Bull Romania.
Unirii View is the first real estate project in Romania that applied and obtained the sustainable green pre-certification BREEAM, with the Excellent rating, under the latest 2016 regulations.
Unirii View is a project developed by Yves Weerts after an investment of around €33 million. Yves Weerts is a Belgian national and real estate professional, with several other real estate investments undertook in Romania, among the development and successful sale of Deva Logistics Park to CTP investment fund.
