Millennium Gardens, TriGranit’s newest office development in Budapest, is already under structural construction phase. Structural works of the office building with over 37,000 sqm GLA, is being carried out by Bayer Construct Zrt. The project providing 21st century’s technical parameters and considering both employee-friendly and green aspects, will be the final element of the two-time FIABCI Award-winning Millennium City Centre with completion in Q2 2021.
“With finishing the base plate end of June 2019, the substructure construction works for Millennium Gardens had been completed. At the same time, Swietelsky Kft., in charge for this phase, handed over the area to Bayer Construct Kft., responsible for the whole reinforced concrete structure construction. According to plans, the Class A office building will reach the ground by the end of October this year. First tenants can move into the office building from the first half of 2021,” Tom Lisiecki, CEO of TriGranit announced.
Millennium Gardens is special on the Budapest real estate market: it is situated at the Danube, right next to the Palace of Arts, the National Theatre and the K&H headquarters, along a uniquely maintained green area with a 1.5 km long promenade and proximity to the Danube. The exclusively designed two-wing office building will offer circa 37,000 sqm office space and more than 500 parking spaces, focusing on the current needs of employees and tenants.
Adapting to the newest city utilisation trends, the office building will be equipped with storage for more than 200 bicycles as well as changing rooms and showers. Additionally, the office complex will have electric car chargers, facilitating environmental awareness. The spacious, green garden promotes recreation and healthy work-life balance as well as working at an alternative location and can also function as a public space and a meeting point. The office complex will also provide a place for a restaurant on the ground floor, with seating for 300 people, alongside further service units.
The building’s design was planned in consideration of sustainability, using modern architectural solutions secured by the developer, TriGranit, as well as in correspondence with the BREEAM ’Very good’ certification.
The Millennium City Center also developed by TriGranit has become a real town inside Budapest over the past decade – accessible nearby facilities include cafés, restaurants, fast food restaurants, fitness centres and even a health centre. Thanks to service units in the neighbourhood, employees can arrange several of their everyday tasks as well, while the adjacent MÜPA Budapest, National Theatre and the nearby Budapest Park support cultural re-charge. The location of the office building is excellent in terms of both cars and public transport. Four tram lines, several bus routes, two suburban rail lines and the prospective fifth metro line are situated nearby.
