The Praga Studios office building on Pernerova Street in Prague’s Karlín neighbourhood has been fully leased out. The tenants of the administrative building with a total leasable area of 11,800 sqm are: the medical technologies company Edwards Lifesciences, the operator of co-working and flexible offices Scott&Weber, restaurant Spojka Karlín, conference premises Spojka Events, and newly also two successful IT companies, Pipedrive and BizMachine. Spojka and Scott&Weber have already moved into the building, and other tenants will move in during upcoming months. Skanska is preparing Grand Opening of Praga Studios for Thursday 29th August 2019.
The building’s largest tenant is the medical company Edwards Lifesciences, which has leased 5,300 sqm of space, nearly one half of the building. Scott & Weber has opened its fully equipped offices and co-working spaces at Praga Studios. In upcoming months, two successful international IT companies will move in: developers from Pipedrive (an international CRM sales platform) and BizMachine (data for B2B sales and marketing). On the ground floor of Praga Studios, Etnosvět s.r.o. has opened its new restaurant Spojka Karlín, and will also operate here conference premises Spojka Events from November.
“We are happy that the Praga Studios project has reached 100 percent occupancy with the IT companies Pipedrive and BizMachine moving in. The companies that are based in Praga Studios were attracted both by the project’s design and by the environmentally conscious and innovative solutions that we offer. Furthermore, I believe that residents of Prague 8 will take to the atrium of Praga Studios, which is designed to hold art performances and exhibitions,” says Alexandra Tomášková, Managing Director of Skanska Property Czech Republic.
“Pipedrive has its offices in six countries and eight cities. We have high demands for the building standard, the facilities and the workspace. After the viewing of Praga Studios we knew we have found what we were looking for. The construction site organization alone was something we have not seen elsewhere. Modern architecture connected with modern technologies only enhanced the overall impression, so we did not hesitate for a moment. The interior design is being prepared by studio Perspektiv so we believe that in this beautiful building a unique and functional workspace will emerge where it will be a delight to get creative,” says Tomáš Řehoř who leads the local branch of Pipedrive.
“Our BizMachine team keeps growing and we keep moving to bigger spaces. Praga Studios will offer us a modern inspirational environment. We also appreciate that we will have flexibility to use the business center and the common areas. At the same time, it is perfect that we will be even closer to other IT companies and our partners, on top of that in Karlín which we like, and which is a district that attracts interesting people,” adds Martin Ondáš, co-founder of BizMachine.
