Rohlig SUUS Logistics has opened a subsidiary in Uzbekistan, recognising the growing importance of Central Asia as an emerging market, enabling resilience and business efficiency for clients facing geopolitical challenges. This investment, following Kazakhstan, marks another step in strengthening the company’s presence in the region. The new entity provides end-to-end logistics services in the Uzbek market.
The new SUUS entity in Uzbekistan, based in Tashkent, offers a comprehensive range of logistics services, including international road transport and domestic distribution (both LTL and FTL), as well as sea, rail and air freight, intermodal solutions, warehousing, and customs brokerage. In the Uzbek market, SUUS leverages its in-house expertise, supported by the global Röhlig network and trusted local partners.
Andrzej Kozłowski, Member of the Management Board of Rohlig SUUS Logistics, responsible for international expansion in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, emphasises: “In the face of ongoing geopolitical shifts, companies are focusing on building resilience and business efficiency, including by diversifying their operations into new markets. At SUUS, we recognise strong potential in Central Asia and see the role of a logistics operator as a partner in building future-proof operations and navigating new markets with confidence. That’s why we’re already One Step Ahead – following Kazakhstan, we are now expanding our focus to Uzbekistan.”
Erik Aitzhanov, Managing Director Uzbekistan, SUUS Logistics, says: “Uzbekistan is currently a fast-growing economy in Central Asia and the most populous country in the region, with around 38 million inhabitants. We are observing increasing interest from global companies entering the Uzbek market, all of whom require a reliable partner with strong local expertise. At the same time, it is also important to note that local businesses are developing dynamically and value international experience that supports their expansion. By combining these two perspectives with our comprehensive logistics offer, we can effectively support all companies operating across the Uzbek market.”
Rohlig SUUS Logistics, rooted in Poland and operating as an end-to-end logistics provider, continues to strengthen its position as a leading player in the CEECA region (Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia). The company currently operates in nine markets: Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and employs over 2,600 people across more than 40 branches.
