Szymon Łukasik appointed Head of Retail Department at Cresa Poland – EuropaProperty

Cresa, a global tenant-only real estate advisor opening its office in Poland, announced that Szymon Łukasik, who has 16 years’ experience in the real estate sector, has become head of its newly-created retail department in Poland.

Szymon’s key objectives will be to implement new tenant representation standards and bring new brands to Poland. Cresa’s retail team will provide tenant-only services, thus avoiding potential conflicts of interest in lease transactions.

“I believe that there will be increased demand on the Polish occupier market for unbiased support of independent advisors, particularly those who are not bound to landlords,” said Szymon Łukasik, Head of Retail Department, Cresa Poland. “I intend to set up a team of specialists with a strong professional record to support Polish and international tenants in all their projects across the country.”

Szymon Łukasik has supported brands such as TK Maxx and Foot Locker in entering the Polish market and worked with Brice, Costa Coffee and Marionnaud. He also advised on the commercialization of various retail schemes across the country, including regular shopping centres, outlet centres and retail parks. Szymon gained professional experience with Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE, Neinver Polska and JLL. He is a graduate of Warsaw University, a CCIM and a member of RICS.
