Tarkett, a global leader in innovative commercial flooring and sports surface solutions, has leased 1,000 sqm of office space in Warsaw’s Skyliner high-rise building owned by the Karimpol Group. The tenant will move into its new offices in Q1 2023.
Tarkett’s client portfolio includes more than 100 international customers to whom the company supplies 1.3 million sqm of carpeting dedicated to different segments every day. Sustainability is one of the key pillars of Tarkett’s strategy. The company develops solutions based on the highest quality materials designed to protect natural resources and prevent climate change, and actively implements a circular economy model. Starting in January 2023, the company’s new headquarters will be located in the Skyliner, where the new tenant will occupy 1,000 sqm of office space.
“Tarkett is a leading manufacturer of office flooring solutions. Our new office will be our showcase and the best proof that the workspace can be friendly and support creativity and collaboration. The unique modern architecture of the building, its technological solutions, as well as the stunning open office space, which will be designed by our architect Katarzyna Klimek from Create@Tarkett, are the reasons why we have made this choice. We will also establish a showroom at the Skyliner where we will display our solutions. It will be a space to meet with architects and clients to work and create together. Clearly, the building’s location in the very heart of Wola, its proximity to various means of transport, restaurants, service outlets, and the views offered by the location were important when choosing our new office. As a manufacturer, we attach great importance to ecology and the circular economy, and we implement programmes such as ReStart® (flooring recycling programme). The environment-friendly solutions at the Skyliner are 100 percent in line with our company’s strategy and actions,” said Rafał Maćkowiak, CEE Area Director Tarkett.
The building’s owner Karimpol Group was represented in the lease by CBRE and Tarkett was represented by Colliers.
