Tetra Pak, a food processing and packaging company, has leased 1,200 sqm. of space in the Warsaw office property Lakeside, ATENOR’s first development in the capital, which received its occupancy permit last October, and in the coming months will become the headquarters for companies in the medical, energy and IT industries. JLL Poland is responsible for the exclusive commercialisation of the building.
“We are not slowing down in our work to commercialise Lakeside. Despite the huge success of the announced 80 percent occupancy rate, we are still vigorously trying to attract more tenants,” says Wiktoria Weilandt, Senior Consultant, Office Agency, JLL.
Lakeside is already home to companies such as Lux Med, Polenergia Group, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Bonduelle Poland. Located in Mokotów, the office building is a state-of-the-art development offering 23,834 sqm of high-standard office space. Group 5 Architects was responsible for the architectural design of the office building, while construction company PORR was the general contractor.
“Lakeside is our first, and most important investment in Warsaw, and stands as a testament to the quality of our properties. It is an extraordinary office building, combining both innovation and technology with proximity to greenery and nature, making it a special building both in terms of design and the comfort that it provides for tenants. We are delighted that a company such as Tetra Pak appreciates all of the qualities of Lakeside,” says Karolina Pawłowska, Development&Leasing Manager, ATENOR Poland.
“For many years Tetra Pak has been strengthening its position as a leading supplier of solutions for the food industry in the Polish market, while also being a valued employer. That is why in the new office we want to create a modern and friendly working environment for our employees. The new office also meets high environmental standards, bringing us closer to Tetra Pak’s goal of reducing the carbon footprint within our operations,” says Jacek Świgoń, Sales Director of Tetra Pak in Poland.
At Lakeside, ATENOR took the opportunity to reduce its carbon footprint during construction by using renewable energy sources. Its green credentials are illustrated by the fact that the building has already been awarded a BREEAM certificate, at the highest level of ‘Outstanding’, and a WELL certificate at the ‘Gold’ level, during the construction phase.
