The Czech branch of the international humanitarian organization Doctors without borders/Médecins Sans Frontières moved its Prague headquarters to new offices. Now they occupy three floors with a total area of 660 sqm near the metro station Palmovka in Prague 8. In addition to finding new premises, JLL in cooperation with Tétris also secured the relocation, project & price management, and design.
The Headquarters of Doctors Without Borders has until now been based in Prague 3. Due to the non-profit nature of the organization, JLL has provided its services with the aim of supporting the organization and minimizing its costs.
“I’m glad I could work with Doctors Without Borders. It is a non-profit organization that has a very limited budget, therefore the project was a great challenge to us. Despite this fact, we managed to deliver beautiful offices of great quality to the full satisfaction of the client. Thanks to this cooperation, JLL and Tétris have proven that thanks to the right management and selection of suppliers, we are able to fulfill the ambitions and meet the requirements of every client regardless of their financial possibilities,” said Miroslav Brabec, senior project manager at JLL.
“I really appreciate that all representatives we have worked with from JLL & Tetris showed a high level of professionalism, deep knowledge in their respective professional area, lot of commitment, excellent time management, and last but not least very human approach. We have succesfully reached the overall goal – being in a new, suitable and nice office and on time! Both JLL and Tetris also reflected that Doctors without borders is a humanitarian and health organization and therefore we were not charged full market price,” said Pavel Gruber, CEO of MSF in the Czech Republic.
Doctors without borders have been operating in the Czech Republic since 2006. There are over 3,500 international collaborators in the field, with nearly 38,000 local employees working alongside. Together, they provide life-saving medical and humanitarian aid to people who would otherwise have no access to health care, drinking water or shelter.
