UDI Group delivers first project in Serbia
In New Belgrade, Czech developer UDI Group has completed an 11-floor apartment building with 269 apartments. The new owners are set to move in in August and September.
480 high-end apartments are in the project budgeted at €86.5 million. The development also includes 39 retail units.
“Serbia is the largest foreign market for us. We are planning three residential projects here, including a new district, Duga, for €556 million. Besides apartments we will build also offices and a hotel here,” explained Marcela Fialková, Strategy Director at UDI Group. “The Lastavice project is the first that UDI Group implemented in Serbia, setting our standards on the real estate market,” said Vladimír Djurdjevič, Director at UDI for Serbia.
In addition to Serbia and the Czech Republic, the Czech developer UDI Group operates in Hungary, Poland and Latin America. It is currently implementing or preparing 21 projects, with an expected development profit of more than €2.5 billion.
Hauser opens warehouse in Garbe Industrial Park
Hauser, a refrigeration furniture and technology supplier, has leased new premises in Garbe Park České Budějovice, announced developer Garbe. Hauser joins Taconova and Nobo Automotive in the expanding South Czech industrial park. The rental of a warehouse of almost 9,000 sqm was mediated by CBRE.
“Hauser is the third tenant for whom our location is of European importance,” said Martin Polák, Director for Eastern and Central Europe at Garbe.
“The leased industrial premises will serve as a new central warehouse,” explained Pavel Mrzena, Vice President for production and quality at Hauser.
Bob W to Open First Aparthotel in Vienna
Tech-powered hospitality provider Bob W will launch a 67-unit serviced apartment building in Vienna, its first in Austria. The aparthotel will open in 2025. Co-founder Niko Karstikko highlights Vienna’s booming tourism and dynamic business scene as ideal for expansion. The project is a collaboration with Peter Pilz & Partner Projektentwicklungs GmbH, facilitated by CBRE, and marks a significant milestone for Bob W’s European growth.
